Senior Library of S.S. Mota Singh Sr. Sec. Model School, Janak Puri, New Delhi- 58 caters to the need of approximately 1960 students of classes VI- XII.

The children explore the world of knowledge through latest books available in various fields. The children are issued reader’s card which enables them to use the book for a period of 7 days and can get it re- issued as per their requirement.

Senior School library subscribes more than 25 magazines and more than 15000 books of English, Hindi, Punjabi which widens the horizon of readers/students.

Reference sources and Informative books are also made available to students and staff which enlightens their mind.

A spacious library which accommodates more than 45 students. It provides a serene atmosphere for effective reading.

The junior library of S.S. Mota Singh Sr. Sec. Model School, JanakPuri  provides academic resources for the school students and the staff members. The library strives to make resources readily accessible when and where ever they are needed to enhance and promote the total growth and development of the students.

The junior library of the school is catering to a student community of approximately 1500 students. The library endeavors to provide students with opportunities to learn how to utilize materials in a variety of formats to access information so that they can continue life long learning.

The library collection standout around 1600 books including Hindi and English storybooks, popup books, subject books, illustrated books, divinity books, dictionaries, thesaurus and other reference resources. 

The library subscribes to more than 15 magazines on regular basis and a number of books are added to the collection every year.

The library can accommodate about 45 students at a time and the students can access the books they want with the help of library staff (Librarian). The students can use/keep the issued book for a week.

The junior library is open to its users on all the working days of the school.

A well ventilated room with a proper sitting arrangement encourages students to avail the facilities of library.
